Texas Legends acquire Rashad McCants

The Texas Legends, presented by Veracruz (visit Veracruz.mx), have acquired guard Rashad McCants. McCants was an integral part of the inaugural Legends team in 2010-11. McCants (6-4, 207, UNC) has four years of NBA experience under his belt, having played with Minnesota and Sacramento. In his third season at Minnesota McCants recorded 14.8ppg, 2.7rpg, and 2.1apg. In the 2010-11 season McCants helped lead the Legends to the playoffs in their first year of play. So far this season, McCants has averaged 19.7 points, 3.9 assists, and 2.5 rebounds in 17 games with Guangdong Foshan.
