Virtus Roma targeting Patrick Mills

Virtus Roma is targeting Patrick Patty Mills and is trying to convince the Australian player to land in Europe and wear the jersey of Lottomatica.

The guard spent last season with Portland Trail Blazers (2.5ppg in 12 games) and Idaho Stampede (25.6ppg in 5 games in NBDL) but had a difficult season due to an injury.
Portland is expected to soon make a decision about his future (he has a non guaranteed contract with the franchise).


Roma is also negotiating with Darius Washington to keep him in the roster. The proposal made by Zalgiris is still higher and the Lithuanian powerhouse may sign him by the end of the week.

The new name for the roster is Andrea Iannilli. The Italian center spent last season with Scafati and may return to Roma where he started his pro career. With the arrival of Iannilli, Josh Heytvelt will likely be sent on loan to Varese.
