Benetton Treviso loans Motiejunas to Prokom and signs Scalabrine

Doppio movimento di mercato in casa trevigiana

Benetton Treviso officially signed for the upcoming season Brian Scalabrine. Former Bulls was signed as American while he is waiting for the Italian passport. Scalabrine, who won also an NBA title with Boston Celtics, is in Treviso since weeks practicing with the team. Treviso also announced the loan to Asseco Prokom Gdynia of Donatas Motiejunas. The Lithuanian big man has contract with Treviso until the end of the season 2012/13. Motiejunas was selected by Minnesota Timberwolves in the 2011 NBA draft and then traded to Houston Rockets.

Concordo con Filmic. La squadra quest'anno mi sembra troppo giovane,e a me i pivot alti 2 metri scarsi o poco piu' non sono mai andati a genio. Quest'anno poi nel nostro campionato mi sembra di vedere diverse squadre piu' forti della stagione scorsa. Spero in un posto playoff e una bella figura in Eurocup.

Magari ricordo male io ma Montiejunas mi ricordo che anche se ripartiva l'NBA sarebbe rimasto tutta la stagione in prestito a treviso per poi andare l'anno successivo in NBA sbaglio?

In questo caso mi pare una buona operazione per il management trevigiano. Sarei curioso di conoscere la cifra che ha pagato il Prokom per averlo fino a gennaio, o fino alla fine del lock-out...

Scalabrine non ha nessun escape. Motje si sapeva dovesse andare, tant'è che non ha giocato nessuna amichevole restando sempre in borghese. Sono avanzati un bel po' di soldi. O arriva un italiano, oppure si gioca con il 3+2 finchè Scalabrine non viene naturalizzato, e poi si prenderá un comunitario (usa no, non c'è posto perche Sani o Scala occupano spot da comunitario)

Ammetto che la notizia mi lascia veramente di stucco... ma Scalabrine ha anche lui l'escape NBA? Se no, allora forse i dirigenti trevigiani stanno scommettendo sulla sicura (presto o tardi) ripartenza della lega americana e si sono tutelati sapendo che avrebbero comunque perso Motiejunas e - come scrive ahzzrd11 - coi soldi risparmiati torneranno sul mercato per firmare un lungo per tutta la stagione. Se invece anche Scalabrine ha l'escape NBA non so' a cos'altro pensare se non che è iniziata la dismissione dei Benetton...

motiejunas aveva uno stipendio troppo alto per treviso, così lui va a guadagnare di più al prokom, treviso risparmia soldi, scalabrine tra 2-3 settimane diventa comunitario, e con i soldi risparmiati si va a prendere un giocatore giovane di prospettiva e che per di più data la povertà di italiani decenti (quelli che ci sono giovani son tutti o quasi a treviso, gli altri già sotto contratto), può essere pure extracomunitario... meglio di così... e cmq scalabrine è un giocatore solido e costante, non un fenomeno, ma fa bene allo spogliatio e perchè no anche in campo... ricordo che ha più anelli NBA lui di lebron james :)
