Virtus Bologna close to Chris Douglas-Roberts

Per l'arrivo del giocatore in Italia manca solo la firma

Despite the meetings to avoid the lockout are going on, Chris Douglas-Roberts decided to leave NBA and land in Italy where he will play for Virtus Bologna.

The two parts reached an agreement in principle and the small forward has just to sign the one-year contract without NBA out with the Italian team. Chris Douglas-Roberts was selected by New Jersey Nets with the 40th overall pick in the 2008 NBA draft and has played three seasons in the NBA averaging 7.7ppg, 2.2rpg and 1.3apg over 155 games.

In 2010-11 the small forward has played with Milwaukee Bucks scoring 7.3 points, grabbing 2 rebounds and dishing 1.1 assists in 44 games.

The official announcement is expected over the weekend.
