Brian Scalabrine on tryout with Benetton Treviso

The forward lands in Italy for a tryout period

Brian Scalabrine is in Italy and will tryout with Benetton Treviso for few weeks with the aim to make the team for the coming season. The forward won the NBA title with Boston in 2008 and spent five seasons with Celtics from 2005 to 2010. Last year, the idol of the whole Arenas in NBA was in Chicago with Bulls with whom he has played 18 games averaging 1.1ppg. Scalabrine has a 10 year experience in NBA where he has played 492 games averaging 3.2ppg and 2.1rpg.

se fosse il fenomeno che tu dici, lo avrebbero preso altri ad altre cifre: al giorno d'oggi con tutti gli scout in giro per il mondo pochi fenomeni restano sommersi... come scritto da qualcun altro, appena il livello di gioco si è alzato, le sue percentuali al tiro sono diventate da campionato csi...

Dato che stiamo parlando tutti solo basandosi su statistiche son per forza tutti discorsi da bar. Ha fatto grandi stat in una università scarsa dove giocava da solo. Guardatevi le partite che sta facendo ora con la Romania : anche lí gioca da solo, ha fatto dei trentelli con nazionali infime ma come si è alzato il livello.... 3/17 dal campo. Non ho detto che è come Cuccarolo (spero sia meglio! ) ma lotta con quel gruppo di riserve. Pronto ad esser smentito, ma questo non passerà i 10 minuti di impiego.

se si giocasse solo con i cm, Adrien farebbe la guardia... il potenziale può anche esserci, non lo metto in dubbio, però da qui al quintetto base ce ne passa di acqua sotto i ponti: Motje 4 titolare tutta la vita con Scale (se verrà firmato) come cambio 1Mekel-2Moore-2/3Gentile-4Motje-4/5Adrien 1DeNicolao-1/2Bullo+1/2Becirovic-3Sandri-4Vlad-4Wojciechowsky-5Cuccarolo (4Scalabrine)

Ribadisco quanto già espresso. Sse fanno un video delle mie giocate e lo mettono su youtube sembro forte anch'io. E' ingiudicabile, ma il potenziale c'è e di Coldebella mi fido. Certo non sarà come il polacco se non per una questione fisica

a mio parere si gioca i minuti col polaccone: dai video mi sembra un po troppo soft come atteggiamento in campo e innamorato soprattutto del tiro da fuori, evitando le battaglie nel pitturato (come appunto Woiche...). Dalle statistiche mi sembra dotato di ottima tecnica (vedi % ai liberi)

ok, però finchè non li si vede all'opera l'unico modo per giudicarli è basarsi sulle cifre delle statistiche... quindi non si può dire che vlad sarà il 4 o quinto lungo dietro ripeto anche a cuccarolo che invece sappiamo tutti essere nulla di che... diamogli almeno il tempo di mettere piede in campo a sti ragazzi...

vero è che anche Moore proviene dal college, ma ,con tutto il rispetto,le cifre ottenute dal rumeno nella Patriot League non hanno lo stesso valore se paragonate al livello della BigTen Conference, dove evoluiscono le varie Illinois,Indiana,Michigan, Michigan State ecc.

secondo me no invece, vlad ha buon tiro e propensione al rimbalzo, è molto meno "figa" di motije quando si deve fare a botte, visto che nessuno lo conosce queste sono le sue caratteristiche derivate dalle statistiche al college. dato poi che sono di college bisognerà vedere sul campo, ma lo stesso vale anche per moore...poi sicuramente motje sarà il 4 titolare con adrien sotto e gentile moore e mekel a completare il quintetto, almeno all'inizio...vlad sarà il primo cambio perchè sinceramente cuccarolo non è nulla di che e jack è tutto da vedere...

Se la metti su questo piano non si potrebbe parlare di tanta gente. Moldoveanu può essere il quarto lungo al massimo, niente di più. Anche non conoscendolo direttamente mi pare ovvio che sia sicuramente inferiore ad Adrien, Scalabrine e Motje.

Motje è un 4 che ama giocare fronte a canestro, partendo da oltre l arco in palleggio contro difensori più lenti di lui: Gelsomino Repesa l'ha snaturato facendogli fare a sportellate contro gente più grossa e smaliziata di lui... da qui deriva la sua mediocre stagione e lo "scivolamento" al nr 18 del recente draft NBA...

Motje non è un 5. Che poi Repesa lo schierasse da 5 è un altro discorso, che l'ha portato ai livelli attuali. Il 4 titolare è lui. E di punti ne ha fatti, anche lo scorso anno. Moldoveanu non è assolutamente uno da quintetto, si gioca il posto da quarto lungo con Woichekowsi e Cuccarolo, niente di piú. Se lo consideriamo 4 titolare allora Treviso è da salvezza!
