Benetton Gioco Digitale forward Jasmin Hukic is expected to be sidelined for the remainder of the Eurocup Last 16 due to a bone fracture in his left foot, the club confirmed Thursday. Hukic was injured midway through his team's Group K road loss against Brose Baskets. He has a bone fracture in his left heel and will not be able to help his team throughout the remainder of this phase. His status will be monitored in about 20 days, when Hukic is expected to gradually return to practice. Hukic has averaged 5.1 points and 3 rebounds in 7 Eurocup games with Benetton so far this season. In other injury news, guard Daniele Sandri underwent surgery in the meniscus of his left knee. He is also expected to miss one month but just as Hukic, may be back if Benetton makes it to the quarterfinals.
