Cappicchioni: 'Kalnietis has only a valid contract with Benetton'

Interperformances admitted that Kalnietis has to play in Italy

The chief of Interperformances, Luciano Cappicchioni, said at Krepsinis.net that Mantas Kalnietis has only one valid contract, with Benetton Treviso.

Yesterday Zalgiris announced on its website that Kalnietis will play at least another season in Lithuania.

"Mantas Kalnietis has only one valid contract, with Benetton" said Cappicchioni. "He signed a three year deal. The documents which have Zaigiris GM are not valid. He is a Benetton player and there he has to play" added Cappicchioni.

According to Lithuanian website, the two parts will table the question to FIBA.
