Fenerbahce made a contract offer to Ettore Messina

Il coach ha recentemente espresso il suo desiderio di tornare ad allenare

Ettore Messina, where next? After claiming to posses the desire to coach again, the 52-year-old Italian native who spent the past season consulting Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers, is pursuing European coaching positions.

After David Blatt re-signed with Maccabi Tel Aviv and Zeljko Obradovic said he's probably staying with Panathinaikos, Euroleague powerhouses CSKA Moscow and Fenerbahce Ulker are still in search of a sideline leader.

When in Europe, Messina was frequently rumored to join NBA coaching staffs, while being linked with the Sacramento Kings, Toronto Raptors and San Antonio Spurs. Now, Messina is yet to reveal his next move, but Sportando was told via European source that Turkish Fener has presented Messina with a 2012-13 contract.

Fener's coming off an extremely disappointing season including the release of head coach Neven Spahjia for George Dikeoulakos. Fener finished the regular season as the 5th seed (21-9) and failed to reach both the Euroleague and Domestic Final Fours, after losing 2-0 to Besiktas in the Turkish Quarterfinals.

Per quanto riguarda le mosse di Minucci mi trovi in pieno accordo, ma sul piatto della bilancia bisogna mettere anche le ca@@te della stampa...quante cose sono state dette sulla mens sana e quante erano vere? Oppure x un argomento più recente guarda le notizie sul maccabi, prima la finta intervista di shermadini e la redazione e' stata costretta a togliere l'articolo, poi la certezza della firma di Langford subito smentita dal giocatore stesso. Quindi io ci spero eccome, magari i turchi la proposta l'hanno fatta mettendo sul piatto un monte di soldi, ma si sa che spesso i soldi non sono tutto, poi ormai Ettore ne ha abbastanza e vuole seguire più un progetto che i soldi...comunque si vedrà...per quanto riguarda il discorso Griccioli concordo in pieno, infatti lo rivedremo tra molto tempo, a maturazione completata...

Griccioli tornerà nello staff prima o poi, ma ancora e' presto ed e' giusto che si faccia le sue esperienze, Crespi non sarebbe male mi e' sempre piaciuto ma come ho già detto in altro post, Banchi ha già il suo ruolo a cui e' molto legato e ci si trova benissimo, ovvero l'assistant coach.
