Barcelona too wants Kleiza
Euroleague

Another European team is targeting the Lithuanian forward

According to Spanish media, also Barcelona, after Olympiacos, wants to bring Linas Kleiza back to Europe. The Spanish champs are looking for big men to replace David Andersen and Ersan Ilyasova, landed in NBA.

The first contact between Xavi Pascual/Creus and the agent of the player, Filipovic, there was during the Summer League.

The proposal made by Regal Barcelona is a three year contract but with a lower salary if compared to the one offered by Olympiacos (two year deal for 5mlns of euro) but higher if compared to the qualyfing offer of Nuggets (2.7mlns of USD).

However the arrival of the Lithuanian restricted free agent, who averaged 9.9ppg last season in NBA with Nuggets, is difficult considering his wish to stay in NBA and the advanced negotiations with Olympiacos.
